Practices will begin on Monday, August 29th and will be every Monday, Wednesday and Thursday throughout the season (end of October). Some practices will take place on Saturdays if the students are not running in a meet that day. Practice times will be 3:00-4:00.

As with all sports at TJMS, all participants must have a completed and signed 2016-17 Sports Physical and a Head Injury and Concussion form on file. Without those two items the student-athlete may not participate. Both forms can be found attached to this message or on the front page of School Loop under Quick Link on the left hand side, or under the Athletics tab on School Loop or on the EGUSD website.

Please download and print the cross country documents for more information. Please bring the EMERGENCY FORM with you to the first day of practice.

Please email or see the Athletic Director Mrs. Theresa Jones in the PE Dept if you have any questions at thjones@egusd or to Coach Hanna at

More information about the survey and its purpose can be found in the attached letter. If you do not wish to have your child respond to the survey, you may request that your child not participate by completing a portion of the attached letter and returning it to school by Tuesday, October 4th.

Franklin High School’s Homecoming Parade will take place Friday, September 30, 2016, from 2:20 PM to approximately 3 PM. Franklin High Road and Whitelock Parkway will be closed during the parade.
