ATTENTION: 7th and 8th Graders - Would you like an opportunity to be a Teacher’s Assistant? What does a TA do? You assist the teacher with making copies, collate worksheets, and assist with various projects. Who qualifies to be a TA? Students must have a 3.0 grade point average and have no discipline concerns. If you are interested, please pick up an application from your counselor in Student Services. Twitter Message Contest 2014-15
This contest invites secondary students to create personal tweets about what they
Enjoy about school. Students can enter the contest by writing a tweet on the entry form that best describes what they enjoy about school in 140 characters or less.
Tweet entries will be judged on creativity of the message and 12 winners will be chosen from all entries received. The winning Tweets will be used for the attendance campaign in District communications. Posters will be created to hang at secondary school sites. Student winners will have the honor of their Tweet representing the District’s attendance campaign for all students. District level runner-up will each receive a certificate of commendation from the Superintendent.
